LUXATRIN

It is a non-systemic acaricide that has contact and ingestion action, it acts by inhibiting the fixation of GluNAc (acetylglucosamine), which is the precursor for chitin biosynthesis. It originates the alteration of the molt, of the growth and of the development of the immature states (larvae and nymphs); An effect on adult females has also been demonstrated, causing their sterilization (the clutches of treated females are not viable).
