BENZOMIL 500

BENZOMIL® 500 is a preventive and systemic fungicide, efficient against a range of fungi that damage various crops in the field. BENZOMIL® 500 translocates via the apoplast and acts by inhibiting the formation of beta tubulin, which is essential for the synthesis of chromosomal microtubules, thus interfering with the nuclear division of the fungus, blocking mitosis. The product stops the development of the germ tube, inhibits cell multiplication, mycelial growth, inhibits the formation of the appressorium and causes the death of the fungus.
